Dressing for Dinner.

That fresh-start feeling is all around us. As we re-connect with friends and our interior lives, we’re having lots of new ideas on how we want to dress ourselves and our tables. That means cozy dinners out and at home, which is why we thought it’d be useful to share a few new things we’re adding to our closets and dining rooms for suppers chez nous. We have an old school shoe that suddenly feels fresh with literally everything, some great drop earrings, a sheer skirt, cropped cardi and stellar silk pant plus a table setting that marries the toasty colors of fall with summer’s bounty. There’s also a just-right shade of toe polish, an of-the-moment powder, three juicy last-days-on-the-beach reads and more.

And while roasting season is just around the corner (yay!), for now we’re reveling in this golden and shadowy September sunlight, the last of the sweetest corn and tomatoes and the sudden and tranquil quiet that can be felt in all of our favorite summer towns. It’s truly a magical time, so let’s savor it!
