Hats for all kinds of fun in the sun.

Hello, everyone! In this edition of our advice column, Ask Us! we address our never-ending search for the perfect sun hat. It’s a category that should be easy, but just isn’t. We wrote about our all time favorite, a Nantucket-made secret we learned from our moms, in Issue Nine. But like shoes and jackets, different situations call for very different hats. Searching for the ne plus ultra in baseball caps for bike rides and sunny sails? Try the one Jackie O. preferred for her beach walks on Martha’s Vineyard. Or the bucket hat Hunter S. Thompson was so famous for wearing (tinted aviators are optional but encouraged with that one.)
