Hi, Everyone! Welcome to another installment of Ask Us! our advice column for our lovely paid subscribers. This question came from a reader who loved the IKEA wicker chair we wrote about in Issue Eight. They wondered what other cheap and cheerful things we buy on repeat because they’re so good…and so affordable. In response, we’ve come up with a short list of our all-time favorite steals, from über useful home stuff (suuuper cute linens & and an extra chic electric kettle) to old faithful fashion (the sunglasses and summer slides we’re always losing…and buying again.)
We hope you’ll come to love the things below as much as we do. And, as always, if you have a burning question about style, travel, entertaining or anything in between, write us at theperfect@substack.com and we’ll put our heads together for you.
Alexa, Aaron & Courtney
“I have bought these classic Swiss dot bedspreads from Zara Home for every bed in my house. They’re 100% cotton, nice and thick and there’s a matching pillow cover. A perfect weight for summer.” —Alexa
“The Ikea Ullerslev Sheepskin is one of the most useful items in my rotation….put them on seats indoors or out to warm things up, car seat covers, dog beds or a good way to protect your fancy upholstered furniture from wine spills, pets and small friends when you’re having a party.” —Aaron
“This Oxalis plant is a lovely deep shade of purple. I have several around the house and love to give them as gifts as they seem to be almost indestructible. My favorite part is that at night or on a rainy day they fold up like an umbrella.” —Courtney
