How to wear (and we mean really wear) cowboy boots.
Happy weekend, Everyone! In each issue of The Perfect, we strive to bring you a very thoughtful list of things we’re personally obsessed with every month. In between issues, we like to give our paid subscribers special extras for supporting our work. Today, we inaugurate what we hope will become a useful tool for all of you: our new advice column, Ask Us! wherein we encourage you to write in with your burning questions, whether it’s travel, fashion, food, beauty or design-related!
Since we published Issue Six last weekend, which featured a really great (and really affordable) pair of cowboy boots, we’ve had a lot of questions about what we’d wear them with…and oh do we have answers!! Here are some very different ideas from each of us. We all have a unique approach to style: Aaron is a vintage guru and designer, Alexa was a fashion editor for 20 years and Courtney is an artist. And we’re all in agreement that hinting at a cowboy boot’s westernness—some turquoise, a little denim, a prairie dress—feels fun and right. (Just don’t go whole hog with the hat etc, ummmk?)
